Local Toward Zero Waste Roadshow profiled in recycling industry newsletter

Bellingham, WA - (January 10, 2011) - On Friday, October 22, the Washington State Recycling Association (WSRA) hosted its final Washington Recycles Every Day (WRED) Event of the year – Toward Zero Waste in Bellingham. The event, sponsored in part by SSC, attracted more than 50 WRED visitors to see how Bellingham businesses, schools and Bellingham's City Hall are moving Toward Zero Waste. Attendees were treated to a day of tours at local businesses and government facilities including Louws Truss, Samson Rope, Fairhaven Middle School and the City of Bellingham’s City Hall.
