November 17, 2010 (Bellingham, WA ) - Congratulations to Alcoa Intalco Works, winner of the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce and Industry 2010 Green Business of the Year Award. The award, sponsored by SSC, will be announced at the 6^th Annual Awards Banquet to be held Wednesday, December 8^th, at the Lakeway Inn and Conference Center.

The Ferndale aluminum smelter was named this year’s Green Business of the Year for achievements they have made toward reducing their environmental footprint and for programs they have in place to educate and empower employees to contribute to a more sustainable future.
