Ask SSC: Books
Paperback books, manuals, magazines, catalogs and similar softback or loose-leaf (3-ring binder, etc.) material can be recycled as scrap paper through our curbside recycling program.
Remove and discard hard covers and bindings (wire, plastic, etc.) before recycling.
Please recycle in your scrap paper bin. For larger quantities, please place in a small plastic tub or cardboard box no larger than a standard curbside bin. If you prefer to drop-off large quantities, they are accepted at our Drop Box Facility & Recycling Centers for a small fee. More here.
