Bellingham, WA - SSC is pleased to be the presenting sponsor for the new Whatcom Museum exhibit, Treasures from the Trunk: The Story of J.J. Donovan. The exhibit, which opens Sunday, July 28, draws from the "Donovan Papers" a set of recently discovered letters, diaries and company correspondence that have been saved by Donovan's descendants.
Donovan, considered one of Bellingham’s most noted citizens, was a civil engineer, lumberman, railroad superintendent, progressive business man, community builder and business partner with other Bellingham notables.
In addition to the museum exhibit, Everybody Bike is hosting a History Ride on July 28. The ride will start at Fairhaven Village Green and take participants on a bicycle tour to different Donovan landmarks around the city. For more information on both the exhibit and the History Ride click here.
