There are several options for dealing with extra FoodPlus! materials. Rates may vary slightly depending on where you live in Whatcom County. Option 1 — Sign up for an additional Toter®. Cost: Low monthly rate dependent on where you live in Whatcom County. Option 2 — Set out extra material in paper or compostable bag(s) (Max. size: 30 gal). Cost: $2.50/bag. You can find large “Yard Debris” or “Leaf” bags at local home improvement and garden centers. Bulky Items: Bulky material that will not fit in FoodPlus Toters® should be cut to 4’ lengths, tied in bundles (max. weight 50 lbs.) and set next to FoodPlus Toter®. Charges for bulky material apply.
