Dear Erika,

Metal window blinds (36” or less), and similar metal items, are accepted in our curbside recycling program. Please remove and discard the plastic handle. String drawcords are OK. Please place next to recycling bins for pick-up. Plastic and wood blinds should be disposed of as trash.

Blinds longer than 36”, or other large scrap metal items made from steel, copper, aluminum and/or brass, are accepted for recycling at any of our three area recycling centers. See list below, or for more info click here. Hours vary. Small recycling fee charged.
