Bellingham Recycling Center & Transfer Station Re-Opens; Halloween Pumpkins Accepted
Bellingham, WA (October 27, 2011) – SSC’s Bellingham Recycling Center and Transfer Station located at F & Roeder has re-opened after a temporary closure due to construction activity on-site. Hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Please check in at the front office for assistance. For a complete list of accepted items click here.
Halloween pumpkins will be accepted at the Bellingham location for composting through the Food Plus! program. Charge is $2 per average size pumpkin, a bit more for anything really big. A reminder that our convenient, curbside FoodPlus! service is available to most residential and commercial customers. For more info or to sign up for service, click here. Halloween and fall seasonal fare including pumpkins, gourds, unwanted candy (no gum or wrappers please), cornstalks, hay, straw, etc. are all accepted in the Food Plus! program.
