Event: Public Tour of new SSC Stormwater Treatment System

Stormwater Tour Photo 2

Bellingham, WA - You're invited! Join SSC Shop Manager, Garrett Lemley and Rodd Pemble, SSC Recycling Manager, for a free on-site tour of our new state-of-the-art stormwater treatment system.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 9, at 10:00AM

WHERE: 1001 Roeder Avenue (Corner of F & Roeder Streets) - Bellingham

WHY: Imagine the stormwater challenges posed by parking and moving 70+ large trucks on a waterfront site - and washing all those trucks plus bins and containers. Take that and design a new stormwater treatment system, coordinating among multiple jurisdictions including the City of Bellingham, Port of Bellingham, and the Washington State Department of Ecology. You've got a big project - which SSC successfully accomplished, all while continuing to collect garbage and recyclables without a hitch!

Hosts: Re Sources and SSC.

Attire: Northwest. Please come dressed to spend an hour outside.

For more info about the event visit North Sound Baykeepers.
